COVER DEVICE FOR CONNECTOR

PURPOSE:To realize a cover mechanism for a connector which is open-operated surely in a cosmic space. CONSTITUTION:A connector 4 is covered with a first cover 10 and a second cover 14, the second cover 14 is fixed to the connector 4, a second opening port is provided just above the connector 4, a first opening port is provided on the first cover 10, and positions of two opening ports are shifted from each other in condition in which the cover 10, 14 are closed. An inner cylinder 3 is fit to the inside of a first hollow cylinder 2 slidably in the axial direction, while its rotation is restricted, a second hollow cylinder 7 is rotatably fit to an outside, and the first cover 10 is fixed to the second hollow cylinder 7. The first projection 8 on an inner cylinder 3 outer surface is engaged with the second projection 9 on the second hollow cylinder 7 inner surface, the engagement is released when the inner cylinder 3 is pushed down, the first cover 10 is rotated by a spring which is rotatingly energizing the first cover 10, and rotation of the first cover 10 is stopped by the stopper 19 of the second cover 14 when the first opening port matches second opening port.
