SUSPENSION STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To enhance the ground contact ability of a tire by providing joint parts in the intermediate parts of arms which are therefore foldable, and by connecting the intermediate part of an arm part of one of the arms at a position near the joint part to the intermediate part of the other one of the arms. CONSTITUTION:A type upper and lower arms 1, 2 are coupled at their inner ends to a body frame through the intermediary of bushings 3, and W coupled at their outer ends, respectively to the upper and lower ends of an knuckle arm 5 serving as a wheel supporting member through the intermediary of usual ball joints 6. A first arm part 1a of the upper arm 1 is provided in intermediate part with a deformed ball joint 4 so as to be foldable. Further, the first arm part 1a is connected at a position near the deformed ball joint 4 to the intermediate part of a first arm part 2a of the lower arm 2 through deformed ball joint 4 by a connecting arm 7. With this arrangement, it is possible to enhance the ground contact ability of a tire.
