Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enhance the initial adhesive strength between bead wires and coating rubber in a pneumatic tire by combining wire coating rubber composite in which reactive phenol formaldehyde resin is blended, with bead wires plated with bronze having a specific composition. CONSTITUTION:A wire coating rubber composite is a blend of a rubber component containing natural rubber or polyisoprene rubber, reactive formaldehyde resin, methylene donator, and vulcanizing agent, and is added therein with any one of various additives such as carbon black, as a vulcanization accelerator, and reinforcing agent. Each bead wire is formed of a steel wire plated with bronze containing 2 to 8wt.% of Sn and 92 to 80wt.% of Cu. The bead wire is wrapped with unvulcarnized wire coating rubber composite so as to form a green tire which is then vulcanized. Thereby it is possible to prevent the tire from peeling off even though it is heated during running.
