Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve S/N by suppressing noises generated by the inversed bell filters of the recording system and reproduction system of a SECAM system video tape recorder. CONSTITUTION:A band-pass filter 2 extracts a carrier chrominance signal from a base band signal of the SECAM system. A bell filter 3 expands the amplitude of the carrier chrominance signal corresponding to the frequency. A limiter 4 removes noises from the carrier chrominance signal. A frequency demultiplexer 5 demultiplexes the frequency of the carrier chrominance signal to 1/4. Higher harmonics generated by the limiter 4 and frequency demultiplexer 5 are removed by a band-pass filter 6. The inversed bell filter 7' which outputs a recording FM signal generated by suppressing the amplitude of the carrier chrominance signal demultiplexed by the frequency demultiplexer 5 to the low band according to the frequency consists of at least two Qs, and makes one Q variable independently of each other without exerting any influence on frequency-to-gain characteristics in the chrominance signal band.
