Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enhance traveling stability by controlling a driving system or a braking system by taking the change speed of the deviation amount of starring property in relation to the basic steering property in account. CONSTITUTION:In the traction control for restraining slip of driving wheels by the traction control of an engine 5 through a sub throttle valve 17 and the traction control for brakes 21 to 24, the target slip amounts SET, SBT for controlling a throttle 16 and a brake 25 are found on the basis of the road surface mm, the vehicle speed, the depressing amount of an accelerator 15, the steering angle, the traveling mode, etc., and the deviation amount #Y of the steering property in relation to the basic steering property is found from the actual lateral acceleration and the basic lateral acceleration. And the target slip amount SET is corrected to (a) times (a=0.5 to 0.8) in the understeer state or in the oversteer state when the rate of change DELTAYv of the deviation amount DELTAY is more than the specific value CO, while, the target slip amount SET is corrected to (b) times (b=0.5 to 0.8>a) when the rate of change DELTAYv is less than the specific value CO.
