RECORDING MEDIUM FEED MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To improve straight advance property in relation to a recording medium feed mechanism used with a barrel-shaped platen. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium feed mechanism is equipped with a barrel- shaped platen 11 wherein a rubbery elastic member 13 provided around a mandrel 12 narrowed toward both sides from the in the longitudinal direction of the mandrel 12, a convergent divergent pestle-shaped pinch roller 14 for pushing a recording medium on the elastic member 13 and an energizing means 15 which energizes the convergent divergent part 14b of the center in the longitudinal direction of the pinch roller 14 provided side by side on the platen 11 toward it. Contact parts 14a brought into contact with the rubbery elastic member 13 in the middle part are equipped on both sides of the convergent divergent part 14b of the pinch roller 14. Further the recording medium feed mechanism is equipped with the barrel-shaped platen 11, pinch rollers 17 for pushing the recording medium on the elastic member 13 and energizing means 16 which energize the shaft neck parts 17c of both ends in the longitudinal direction of the pinch rollers 17 provided side by side on the platen 11 toward it. In the pinch rollers 17, the central part 17b in the longitudinal direction is narrowed and bent by energizing force of the energizing means 16.
