Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus for exterminating mites by which the mites can be driven out of a FUTON (a thick bedquilt and a mattress) or clothes and surely exterminated to save labor in cleaning the carcasses of the mites and a method for exterminating the mites. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus for exterminating mites is constituted of a warm air producer 1 composed of a heater 4 and an air blasting fan 3, a bag 8 for housing a material 7 to be heated and a mite capturing container 11 equipped with a heater 12 and a mite capturing filter 13. The apparatus is capable of feeding warm air from the warm air producer 1 into the bag 8 with a warm air feeding hose 5, heating the material 7 to be heated, collecting the mites escaping from the material 7 to be heated in the mite collecting container 11, capturing and exterminating the mites.
