PEDOMETER WITH POCKET BEEPER

PURPOSE:To facilitate object management for number of steps per day by providing both functions of a pocket beeper and a pedometer. CONSTITUTION:The pedometer mode is set usually, a counted step number is displayed on a liquid crystal display section 1 and when the step number reaches a preset step number, it is sounded from a speaker 9. Upon the receipt of a call signal by a wireless reception section 8, a CPU 19 generates the call signal while placing priority to the pedometer mode and a call bell output is sounded from the speaker 9 via an amplifier 11. On the other hand, the signal generated by the CPU 10 is displayed on the display section 1 via a liquid crystal display controller 1a and the indication of the pedometer is erased. To allow the pedometer to reply a call tone of a pocket beeper, a push switch 3 is depressed to stop a bell and a call message is displayed for a prescribed time. Furthermore, in the state that no switch 3 is depressed such as in the non-carrying state, call indication is erased regardless of the reception of 2nd call output.
