Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To produce sintering raw material having a prescribed moisture content and grain size by supplying mixed dust which is obtained by mixing wet dust and dry dust produced in an ion work, to a rotary drier, then drying and granulating the dust in the furnace. CONSTITUTION:At the time of producing the sintering raw material 15 by supplying the mixed dust 13 which is obtained by mixing the wet dust and the dry dust produced in the iron work, to the rotary drier 4 followed by drying and granulating, the moisture content of the sintering raw material 15 is measured with a continuous moisture meter 8 arranged on an outlet side conveyor 7 of the rotary drier 4. The signal of the measured moisture content is transmitted to a gas flow-rate control valve 5 for a burner 6. When the measured moisture content exceeds the prescribed range, the gas flow-rate control valve 5 is automatically adjusted to increase the fuel gas flow-rate supplied to the burner 6, and when this content is under the prescribed range, the fuel gas flow-rate is reduced to recover the moisture content in the sintering raw material 15 to the prescribed range.
