Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To finish working of the prescribed groove shape in one process and to increase working speed so as to enhance an efficiency of back gouging work of welding joint by mounting on a running truck the adjusting device in which a mounting shaft is driven so as to be set to groove shape and a plasma gouging torch is arranged. CONSTITUTION:A mounting shaft 10 is extended/retracted in side direction by a groove position adjusting device 9, a position of a plasma gouging torch 12 is set to edge preparation part and is set so as to have an angle of 40 deg. against edge preparation face in the attitude facing sideways by rotating the mounting shaft 10. Also, by use of a twisting angle adjusting mechanism of a torch holder 11, by rotating the other side plasma gouging torch 12 in 180 deg. around the axis, it is placed as facing against the plasma gouging torch set beforehand. Thus, the plasma gouging torch 12 is actuated, the plasma gouging torch 12 is actuated and a running truck is run along a welding joint groove part 13, the welding back gouging work is executed.
