Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve precision of position detecting of machining line in the work having ring shape machining line. CONSTITUTION:A disk wheel 11 is set as fixed on a rotating table and is rotated around an axial center O extending in Y axis direction. A laser head 18 is provided above the disk wheel 18. A head drive mechanism 19 to freely travel the laser head in X, Y, Z directions is provided. At left side of the disk wheel 11, a machining line detecting device 20 consisting of CCD camera, etc., to detect a position of a welding line 14 is provided. By means of the two process consisting of the machining line detecting process to detect a position data of the welding line 14 over whole periphery by a machining line detecting device 20 while rotating the disk wheel 11 and the machining process to execute beam irradiation while positioning/traveling the laser head 18 based on a position data of the welding line 14, a controller 17 executes the welding operation.
