REFUSE SUPPLYING APPARATUS FOR REFUSE INCINERATING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To obtain a refuse supplying apparatus for a refuse incinerating furnace which can rapidly detect a bridge by providing a contact type detector for detecting presence or absence of refuse on a pushing surface of a pusher provided at a bottom of a refuse introducing hopper. CONSTITUTION:A lower pushing surface 22 protruding from an upper pushing surface 21 for pushing out refuse toward a furnace body is formed at a front part of a pusher 6. Contact type detectors 24, 25, 26 for detecting presence or absence of the refuse are arranged laterally of the pusher 6 on the surface 22. The detectors 24, 25, 26 respectively have limit switches 30 which are closed by retreating or introducing a detecting rod 28 telescopically mounted on the surface 22. If a bridge is generated, the switches 30 are not closed even if the pusher 5 is retreated or introduced, and hence no detection signal is generated, thereby discovering generation of the bridge.
