Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To efficiently decompose org. matter without generating a problem with respect to preservation of the environment by making the average size of the carrier received in a purifying tank larger than that of the carrier received in a treatment tank. CONSTITUTION:Saccharides, amino acids, org. matter and the like are contained in water generated by the decomposition of garbage but these components are decomposed by microorganisms, especially, bacteria propagated on a carrier 6 while purified water is drained. This water purification is mainly performed by the whole of the carrier 6 in a treatment part and further performed by the carrier 6 in a purifying part. Since the average size of the carrier 6 in the purifying part is made larger than that of the carrier 6 in the treatment part, the drainage of the purifying part is improved and, in addition, the drainage of the treatment part is enhanced and the air permeability of both parts is also enhanced. Therefore, Aschelminthes or microorganisms are activated and the decomposition treatment capacity of org. matter is enhanced.
