CAMERA WITH BUILT-IN STROBOSCOPE

PURPOSE:To uniformly irradiate an object with strobe light by performing warning display with respect to a photographer in the case such obstacle as the finger of the photographer is in front of a strobe light emission part and releasing the warning display in the case of removing the obstacle. CONSTITUTION:When even the small part of the finger of the photographer with the camera touches the strobe light emission part 11, the finger of the photographer surely covers the front surface of the sensor 12 because a sensor 12 is arranged on the lower side of the strobe light emission part 11, on the external end side of the front surface of the camera, and proximately to the strobe light emission part 11. Consequently, the sensor 12 transmits an 'H' signal. An obstacle detecting circuit 25 discriminates the obstacle is in front of the strobe light emission part 11 in the case of inputting the 'H' signal, and transmits a warning signal to a warning circuit 26; and the warning circuit 26 supplies power to a warning display part 27 constituted of a light emitting diode so as to perform the warning display. Furthermore, when the photographer changes the position of the finger to hold the camera, the detection signal of the sensor 12 changes from the 'H' signal to an 'L' signal so as to stop the light emission of the warning display part 27.
