Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To lighten a mounting flange to a cylinder head light in weight, and lighten the whole of the intake manifold in weight in its turn by providing a through hole for the aforesaid mounting flange. CONSTITUTION:This invention is concerned with the intake manifold 1 equipped with a plenum chamber 3 made of aluminum having an inlet port and a plurality of outlet ports 2, a plurality of branch pipes 4 made of expanded aluminum connected to the respective outlet ports 2 of the plenum chamber 3, and with a mounting flange 5 to a cylinder head to which the tip ends of all branch pipes 4 are connected. A through hole 8 is formed in the mounting flange 5 of the cylinder head to lighten the weight.
