HERBICIDE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To provide a herbicide composition capable of perfectly controlling broad leaf weeds and gramineous weeds without decreasing crop selectivity and expressing a broad synergistic effect from low to high use of the herbicide. CONSTITUTION:A herbicide composition containing (A) 2', 3'-dichloro-4- ethoxymethoxybenzanilide known as a herbicide for paddy rice and (B) (2- chloro-4-mesylbenzoyl)cyclohexane-1, 3-dione, which is under development as a herbicide for corns and has a weak point expressing very weak weeding effect for ENOKOROGUSA (Setaria viridis Beauv.) though expressing a strong weeding effect for annuus broad leaf weeds and MEHISHIBA (Digitaria adscendens Henr.), an annuus gramineous weed, as a foliage treating agent in a usual amount used, as effective components and A:B=l:0.025-1:10, preferably l:0.1-1:2 ratio. An amount of each component to be used is 10-200 g A/10a, preferably 25-100g A/10a and 5-100g B/10a, preferably 10-50g B/10a.
