AUTOMATIC WIPING APPARATUS OF ROLL MILL FOR KNEADING

PURPOSE:To wipe the circumferential face of each roll easily and automatically and simultaneously by providing a wiping apparatus with an elevating means for a wiping means for kneading rolls in a supplying stage and an elevating means for a wiping means for kneading rolls in a middle stage and taking-out rolls in a taking-out stage. CONSTITUTION:A wiping apparatus is provided with a rere side wiping means 21 and an elevating means 41 for the rere side wiping means wherein the means 21 is set above kneading rolls 11 in a supplying stage and has a wiping cloth winding means 31 to successively wind a wiping cloth to wipe the circumferential faces of rolls and the means 41 supports the rere side wiping means 21 by hanging, moves the means 21 downward to the circumferential faces of the kneading rolls 11, and brings the means 21 into contact with the circumferential faces of the rolls and presses the means to the faces. The apparatus is also provided with a front side wiping means 61 and a front side wiping means elevating means 81 wherein the front side wiping means is set above the position at which kneading rolls 12 in the middle stage and taking-out rolls 13 in the taking-out stage are brought into contact with one another and has a wiping cloth winding means 71 to successively wind wiping clothes to wipe the circumferential faces of respective rolls and the means 81 supports the front side wiping means 61 by handing, moves the means 61 downward to the circumferential faces of respective kneading rolls 12 and taking-out rolls 13, and brings the means 61 into contact with the circumferential faces of the respective rolls and presses the means to the faces.
