SLIDING DOOR LOCK

PURPOSE:To prevent the unlock under the cautious condition, and to regulate the turning of a hook body and a caution lever under the open condition of a sliding door. CONSTITUTION:A caution lever 8 is fitted to a tip engagement part 220 of a book body 7 for sliding door freely to be turned, and a slide plate 23 to be coupled with the operation of an operating member is connected to the hook body 7 through a link 24, and in response to the turning and projecting condition of the tip engagement part 20 of the hook body 7, the cautious condition that a joint part 18 is fitted in a fitting hole 64 of a strike 5 and the lock condition that the tip engagement part 20 of the hook body 7 is fitted in a receiver hole 65 of the strike 5 can be selected to facilitate the operation. Under the condition that a vertical pair of guard bolts 10, 11 are projected, sliding of the slide plate 23, which reacts with the operation of the operating member, is regulated, and while turning of the hook body 7 is regulated to obtain the secure cautious condition.
