PACKAGING METHOD FOR BALE

PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from being broken even when bales on the lower stage are depressed by the weight of the bales on the upper stage and expand to the left and right sides, by a method wherein the tape is discontinuously bonded on the upper surfaces of two or more bales on each stage when the bales are packaged. CONSTITUTION:Discontinuous bonding of a tape 1 on bales 2 means that the tape 1 bonded only on specified bond areas 1a of the bales 1, and excludes such a method that the tape 1 is bonded on the whole surfaces of the bales 2 in the case the bales 1 are fixed with an conventional adhesive tape. The tape 1 has at least a length required to fix adjacent bales 2 together, i.e., a length of d+2D or longer. One or more bond areas 1a can be provided on the bale 2. Thereby, even when ones on the lower stage among the bales 2 develop a cold flow and is deformed, non-bonded areas 1b stretch and the bonded areas 1a barely stretch. Therefore, the tape 1 stretching between the bales 2 is almost prevented from being partly, strongly stretched.
