CARTRIDGE LOADING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To smoothly perform loading and unloading of a disk cartridge by rotary driving force of a roller without obstructing an opening and closing operation of a shutter. CONSTITUTION:The device is equipped with the roller 11 for rolling and pressing the upper surface of the disk cartridge 2 for the purpose of loading the disk cartridge 2 into a chassis 10 or ejecting it out. The roller 11 is arranged on one side surface of the disk cartridge 2 to be positioned between an end surface 2D of the disk cartridge 2 and an end part 3B of the shutter 3 at the time of completing the opening operation of the shutter 3. By this method, the shutter 3 and the roller 11 are not brought into contact with each other during the opening and closing operation of the shutter 3.
