COAL ASH TREATMENT METHOD

PURPOSE:To separate unburned coal among coal ash efficiently by using an anion collecting agent solely or together with a non-polar reagent for a coal ash slurry. CONSTITUTION:A collecting agent is added to an aqueout slurry of coal ash to make unburned coal hydrophobic. In the case, an anion collecting agent such as alkylsulfonate, etc., solely or an emulsified mixture of the anion collecting agent and a non-polar reagent such a kerosene, etc., is used for the collecting agent. A foaming agent is added to the aqueous slurry to produce foams and unburned coal is floated while being attached to the surface of the foams. In this way, unburned coal among coal ash is separated highly efficiently.
