ELECTROCHEMICAL BATTERY FOR EXECUTING ELECTROCHEMICAL PROCESS

PURPOSE: To provide an electrochemical battery taking out only electrodes without pulling out a sealing element by installing a tubular sealing element in each electrode frame. CONSTITUTION: There are a lot of electrode frames 2 in a battery cell 1 and a bipolar electrode 4 intimately connected is provided in a closed surface 3 in a state of being pressed against each frame. The closed surface 3 has a groove 8 installed in a U-shape, and a tubular sealing element 6 is at least partially inserted in the groove 8. In that case, an accurate positioning of the electrode 4 is decided by a U-shaped gap 15 on the electrode frame side in the direction opposite to the groove 8. The closed surface 3 of the electrode frame 2 is encircled by a groove 11 installed in a U-shape. In these grooves, there is a sealing element 10 which seals an intermediate space for the electrode frames 2 which are adjacent each other. When the electrode is detached, the electrode can be detached without removing the sealing element because of a section expansion of the sealing element by increasing pressure.
