Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a water-base lubricant which contains no org. solvent and is nontoxic, noninflammable, excellent in extreme-pressure and slip properties, and suitable for plastic working of metal by dispersing a fluororesin in water in the presence of a surfactant. CONSTITUTION:This water-base lubricant is obtd. by dispersing a fluororesin (e.g. a tetrafluoroethylene resin, pref. having a mol.wt. of 100,000-1,200,000 and an average particle size of 0.1-2mum) in water in the presence of a surfactant. Pref. the resin accounts for 1-60wt.% of the solid content of the lubricant; the surfactant as the second component in an ammount of 1-10wt.% is compounded together with an org. binder (e.g. an epoxy-modified resin or a polyester) or an inorg. binder (e.g. a water-sol. glass) as the third component. The further addition of a metal soap (pref. calcium stearate) and a carrier (pref. melamine cyanuric acid) is still pref. Thus is obtd. a lubricant applicable to plastic working of all kinds of metal.
