ONE-DIMENSIONAL COLOR IMAGE SENSOR

PURPOSE:To provide a one-dimensional color image sensor, which can take out a plurality of color image signals constituting one pixel without through a holding means at the same time and can perform the high-speed operation. CONSTITUTION:Inputs 18a-18e are provided in each block one by one and commonly connected to a thin-film transistor included in the same block. Meanwhile, the output from the cathode of the photodiode is independent 20a-20l, whose number is the same as sensor elements contained in one block. The cathodes of the photodiode corresponding to the different block are commonly connected the same output line. When a gate pulse for reading the electric charge is supplied into the input 18a, the electric charges are taken out of the output lines 20a-20 as the currents from all 12 photodiodes contained in the first block.
