DEVICE FOR COMPRESSION JOINT OF ANCHOR CLAMP TO ELECTRIC WIRE

PURPOSE:To provide a device for compression joint of anchor clamps to electric wires, which can joint anchor clamps one after another to the ends of the wires, changing the direction, without rotating a very heavy device. CONSTITUTION:An electric wire, W where the sleeve S of an anchor clamp C are set on the end, is supported with first and second wire supports 2 and 3 on a frame 1. A hydraulic compressor 4 repeats compressive action and performs the specified length of compression of the sleeve S while shifting along the cable W between the supports 2 and 3 by a nut 10. The wire support members 2 and 3 have a head anchoring part 16, which fixes the eye part E on one side of the anchor clamp C, and a wire holder 17 which holds the wire W. For the head anchoring part 16 and the wire holder 17, the directions can be changed by rotating horizontally them at 90 deg.. According to the direction of the end of the wire W, the positions of the head anchoring part 16 and the wire holder 17 are switched.
