AIR-DUCT-WALL SHIELDING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the test that the wind direction is made to continuously change. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus comprises the parts performing the following functions, Dashboards 28 being arranged so that the neighboring side-end parts are overlapped and juxtaposed on both sides of a wind path and individually moved up and down, optical sensor 39 provided at the upper parts of a terrain model 06 and detect the heights of the terrain model directly beneath the sensors, a rotary angle sensor 43 detecting the wind direction of the terrain model, a memory device 41 computing the heights of the terrain model directly beneath the dashboards for every wind direction on the terrain model and storing the heights, a control part 37 retrieving the undulated state of the terrain model directly beneath the dashboard from the memory device based on the wind direction of the terrain model under test and outputting the vertical- movement signal of each dashboard, and a driving part moving the dashboards in compliance with the undulation of the terrain model based on the signals from the control part. Thus, the test wherein the wind direction on the terrain model is continuously changed, can be performed. Sealing becomes good, and the accuracy of the measured data can be improved.
