Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance control of production, reduce the cost and improve the safety in combustion by slurrying an igniter component as a principal component with an aqueous medium without adding an organic binder thereto, then spraying the slurry into granular droplets, granulating and drying the resultant droplets. CONSTITUTION:This method for producing a granulated igniter is to charge an igniter containing a mixture of baron/potassium nitrate, etc., as a principal component as an igniter component substantially without containing an organic binder and an aqueous medium at (100:60) to (100:140) weight ratio into a raw material tank 1, uniformly mix both with a stirrer 2, form a slurry (S), pass the resultant slurry (S) through a liquid feed pipe 3, a constant rate feed pump 4 and a nozzle 5, spray the slurry in a drying column 6, bring the slurry into contact with hot air, passed through a heat exchanger 8 and fed thereinto, dry the sprayed granular droplets and recover the dried material as a granulated material (P) in a collector 9. The grain diameter of the granulated material is about 50-300mum and fine powder (M) having a smaller particle diameter than that is recovered with a cyclone 10 and reslurried for reutilization.
