Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide the auxiliary installation device for a body for parts in an exhaust system, which contributes much to save production time when a worker installs parts in an exhaust system in place underneath the body, and thereby improve working environment. CONSTITUTION:In the auxiliary installation device used when a silencer W is installed in place from below to a body 6 which is horizontally carried in, the device is equipped with an installation dolly 2 which is moved by an interlocking means 3 while being interlocked with the movement of the body 6, a going-up and down table 5 which is freely moved up and down by a going-up and down means 4, a running trestle 9 which is freely moved to the direction perpendicularly intersected with the carrying direction of the body 6, and with guide rail sections 11 and 12 disposed along the carrying direction of the body 6, and engaging sections 14 and 15 which are slidably engaged with the guide rail sections 11 and 12, are rotatably carried at their one end sections by the upper section of a slide member 13. By this constitution, the device is made up of a receiving section 18 connected to the slide member 13 via a tilt means 17, and of a slide means 19 which allows the slide member 13 to be slid in such a way as to be freely reciprocated while the guide rail sections 11 and 12 are being copied by the engaging sections 14 and 15.
