ELECTRIC VACUUM CLEANER

PURPOSE:To absorb variations in diameter sizes by molding errors of a hose or extension pipe by its elasticity by forming a brush base of a brush attachment for cleaning a clearance, etc., to an approximately C shape in section. CONSTITUTION:A juncture 6 curved to a taper shape larger in diameter in the end part than in the central part is formed on the extension pipe connection side of a bellows hose to be freely attachably and detachably connected to the suction port of a vacuum cleaner body. The brush attachment 7 is mounted at the outer peripheral surface of this juncture 6. The attachment 7 has the brush base 9 of the approximately C shape in section consisting of a resin, such as ABS, PP or vinyl chloride, having elasticity and having a notched part 8 in a part. Brushes 10 are implanted in such brush base 9. The brush base 9 is formed with a bore slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the juncture 6 and is so formed that force acts thereon in a direction to contract inward in the state of mounting the attachment 7 at the juncture 6. As a result, the molding errors of the hose, etc., are absorbed.
