FLUORESCENT CHARACTER DISPLAY TUBE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:To improve the wiring density, and display the display pattern with high precision by forming the wiring pattern to be formed on a glass substrate out of a thin film whose main composition is Al. CONSTITUTION:A glass substrate 21 is coated with Al, and a thin film type wiring layer 22 is formed by patterning. Then, the insulation paste formed by blending the inorganic black paint into frit glass of low melting point is screen printed on the glass substrate 21 where the layer 22 is formed. A through hole is provided on the layer 22, and sintered to obtain an insulation layer 23. The carbon paste is print applied to the inside of through hole 23a and on the surface part of the layer 23 to obtain an anode layer 24 which is electrically connected to the layer 22. The phosphor is applied on the layer 24 to form a phosphor layer 25, and an anode wiring substrate is completed. This constitution makes possible the pattern pitch of about 30mum, and realizes the high density and high precision of the wiring layer 22 of one stage.
