Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a system for delivering the results, obtained by automating the measurement of the kind and the quantity of planktons in a water source, to a water purification plant, acquiring the plankton information on-line, and reflecting the plankton information to the water purification processing side. CONSTITUTION:A plankton measuring equipment 10 measures the number of planktons generated in a water source 1 for every kind thereof and delivers the measurements to a computer 20. The computer 20 determines 200 an optimal water purification method based on the received plankton information and a relational rule between the water quality and the plankton previously inputted to a rule base 202 and presents a guidance on a display 203. According to the guidance, an operator 30 operates a distribution unit 402 through a regulator 401 to regulate the ratio of the quantity of water subjected to tertiary treatment thus managing the purifying operation of a water purification plant 40. This system allows real time reflection of detailed on-line water quality information on the operation and management of water purification plant.
