HEAVY WEIGHT INSTALLATION WORK MACHINE

PURPOSE:To provide an efficient work machine in which a heavy weight, such as a U drain, is moved safely and laid r along a planning plan. CONSTITUTION:A positioning mechanism 9 of six degrees of freedom capable of movable along coordinate axes X, Y and Z and rotating around coordinate axes X, Y and Z a grabbing mechanism for grabbing automatically a heavy weight object at its middle, a guide mechanism for position adjusting for an existing object at the time of heavy weight object positioning, a planning line detector provided in the positioning mechanism 9 for detecting a planning line for heavy weight object installation, an inclination detector for detecting posture of a heavy weight, a distance detector for detecting a relative distance to an existing object, and a monitor camera for detecting an existing object, are disposed in a tip portion of a work arm 50. Then, a controller 33 for automatically controlling the positioning mechanism and the guide mechanism on the basis of signals from the monitor television 35a, the planning line detector and the distance detector, an operation unit 32 and a display unit 34 are provided in an operation room.
