GAS INSULATED SWITCHGEAR

PURPOSE:To provide a gas insulated switchgear excellent in economy and the size thereof can be reduced while enhancing the workability in the maintenance/ inspection of the circuit breaker and the operating mechanism thereof. CONSTITUTION:Two bus side disconnectors 13, 14 are disposed between a pair of main buses 11, 12 and three circuit breakers 15-17 are disposed therebetween. Central disconnectors are disposed between respective circuit breakers and an operating mechanism for driving the circuit breaker is housed in a mechanism box for a three-phase circuit with the peripheral surface thereof being shifted from that of a mechanism box for other phase. This structure provides a sufficient space around the mechanism box thus facilitating the maintenance/ inspection of the operating mechanism. Furthermore, the phase spacing can be shortened significantly by arranging the instrument transformer and current transformer having large outer diameter while shifting for each phase.
