AUTOMATIC TICKET EXAMINATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble to both of a station clerk and a user by discharging a received passenger ticket to a device for connection without collecting the ticket after a ticket examination processing is terminated when a connection is designated. CONSTITUTION:A connection button 6 is provided on a main body in the vicinity of the feeding port of a main body for people who make connections to discharge passenger tickets even if the number of section is matched. When this connection button 6 is pressed, a CPU compares the reading contens from a reading head or entraining station information, the number of effective section and the number of section from an entraining station to the station where this automatic ticket examination device is installed and decides that an exit is possible when the number of section of the passenger ticket is sufficient. When it is decided that exit is possible by this decision result, the passenger ticket is discharged from a discharge port 4, remaining a door part 9 open or remaining the passing of a feeder allowable, by the instruction of a connection processing. As a result, a user passes a passage and receives his passenger ticket for connection. At this time, if the connection processing is not instructed, the passenger ticket is collected to a ticket collection part.
