PALLET FOR CARRYING SPECIMEN IN SURFACE INSPECTION EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To hold a specimen correctly by providing a board for supporting the specimen in the center of a base slidingly along the surface thereof and two pressers for holding the specimen alternately at two points along with the supporting board. CONSTITUTION:Supporting boards 8a, 8b are supported slidingly on a guide rail 10 laid on a base 7 and shifted, at first, to a position where a specimen, i.e., a spoon 1, is mounted. When the spoon 1 is mounted, front and rear positioning members 11, 12 slide on the supporting boards 8a, 8b and positions the spoon 1 in place while stopping the spoon 1 at the front and rear ends thereof. A presser 9a out of pressers 9a, 9b opening outward is then rotated to press a cap part 1a and the supporting board 8b retracts along with the member 12 before the surface at a handle part 1b is inspected. Subsequently, the supporting board 8b and the member 12 advance to clamp the member 11 along with the spoon 1. Thereafter, the presser 9a is separated from the cap part la, the presser 9b rotates to press the handle part 1b and the supporting board 8a retracts along with the member 11 before the surface at the cap part 1a is inspected.
