Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To shut off flames generated from the respective intake-exhaust ports of various valves so as to prevent the flames from spreading to combustibles in the vicinity by disposing wire nets at the respective intake-exhaust ports of these valves in the case of lubricating oil being self-ignited to burn in an oil separator. CONSTITUTION:In an oil-cooled screw compressor, air is compressed being led into a compressor 1 through a throttle valve 6, and during this time, oil is fed for sealing, cooling and lubrication. Compressed air discharged to an oil separator 3 is cooled by an after-cooler 5 after oil in the mist state is collected by an separating element 9, and discharged. There is a case of oil being self-ignited in association with use with the lapse of time so as to burn in the oil separator 3. As a result, flames are generated from the respective intake- exhaust ports of the throttle valve 6, a solenoid valve 7 and a safety valve 8 and spread to combustibles in the vicinity. In order to cope with this, a wire net 12 is disposed at each intake port. The flames are thereby shut off to prevent fine spread.
