Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a starring method and a starting device, by which an exhaust component with high ozone generating ability can be reduce and starting of the engine can be smoothed, for an engine. CONSTITUTION:A starring device is provided with a fuel tank 1, an engine 3, an extracting device 2 extracting light-gravity components in fuel, a light- gravity component supply pipe 21 supplying the light-gravity components extracted in the extracting device 2 to the engine 3, and a fuel supply pipe 121 supplying the fuel in the fuel tank 1 to the engine 3. In starting of the engine 3, the light-gravity components are supplied to the engine 3 through the light-gravity component supply pipe 121, and after starting, the fuel is supplied to the engine 3 from a fuel supply system. For extracting the light-gravity components, air is blown into the fuel, for example, so that the light-gravity components are evaporated.
