ELEVATOR TYPE MULTI-STORIED STORAGE FACILITY

PURPOSE:To shorten a running distance required for taking in/out of an automobile and a carriage vehicle, in an elevator type multi-storied storage facility, such as a solid parking facility and a multi-storied warehouse. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of parking spaces 1, 2, 3 are formed with a distance in their vertical directions, and an elevator shaft 4 vertically extending through the parking spaces 1, 2, 3. A cage 5 moved vertically along the elevator shaft 4 is arranged. A turn table 8 is horizontally revolvably supported to a floor part 7 of the cage 5. Openings 11, 12, 13, and 14 are formed in the four peripheral surfaces of the cage 5. The openings 11, 12, 13, and 14 are openably covered with doors 16, 17, 18, and 19. During taking in/out an automobile 9, only one of a plurality of the doors 16, 17, 18, and 19 is opened based on information on empty spaces in the parking spaces 1, 2, and 3.
