Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a water-based coating compsn. capable of forming a coating film excellent in processability, blocking resistance, adaptability for an ink, adhesion, etc. CONSTITUTION:A resin mixture of (A) 20-98 pts.wt. polyester resin having a wt.-average mol.wt. of 5,000 to 100,000 and an acid value of 10 to 100, (B) 1-60 pts.wt. carboxyl group-contg. reaction product of an arom. epoxy resin with a carboxyl group-contg. acrylic resin, and (C) 1-20 pts.wt. amino- formaldehyde resin [provided that the total amt. of the components (A), (B) and (C) is 100 pts.wt.] is dissolved or dispersed in an aqueous medium to prepare a water-based coating compsn.
