SLIDE ARM TYPE DUST COLLECTOR

PURPOSE:To shorten the length of a rack by changing the reduction ratio of a transmission mechanism given each action of an intermediate frame and a rake arm, making a moving distance of the intermediate frame larger compared with the conventional system, and making the rake arm move less than the intermediate frame. CONSTITUTION:In a dust collector in which a frame 5 provided with a rake vertically moving along a screen installed in a waterway is provided on a structure so as to be freely inclined, the frame 5 is constituted of a rake arm provided with a rake at the tip, an intermediate frame 52 and a fixed frame 51 so that it may be extended and contracted. The rake arm 53 and the fixed frame 51 are provided with rakes 55, 56 respectively, and also the fixed frame 51 and the rake arm 53 are equipped with two pinions 60, 63 engaged with the tracks 55, 56 respectively. The intermediate frame 52 is provided with two pinions 62 of different diameters, and one of the pinions is engaged with the rack 55 on the fixed frame side at a prescribed reduction ratio.
