AUTOMATIC SORTER FOR BOTTLES

PURPOSE:To enhance the recovery efficiency of bottles by enabling the automatic sorting of two or more kinds of bottles by successively sending out the bottles on a palette and performing the image analysis of the silhouttes obtained on the palette to sort bottles having a desired dimension.shape. CONSTITUTION:The bottles A placed on a palette are successively sent out from the first palette to a final palette 3 by the press plates 4 fixed to two chains 7. By the constitution of the illumination lamp 9 arranged above the second palette 2 and a darkroom 12 equipped with a mirror 2 and the camera 11 attached in front of the mirror 2, the silhouttes of the bottles obtained through the second palette 2 are photographed by the camera 11. The palettes 3 on and after the third palette are rotated and inclined according to the indication of the signal obtained by the image analysis of the dimensions.shapes of silhouttes and the bottles A having a desired dimension.shape are sorted on the palettes 3 on and after the third palette.
