Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To decrease energy consumption by adding and mixing a lubricant and an additive to a binder powder consisting of a catalyst alloy containing a specific alloy component and a specific pure catalyst metal, forming the mixture, sintering it at a specific temperature, activating the sintered product by leaching a leachable alloy and cleaning. CONSTITUTION: A mixture is formed with at least one kind of catalyst alloy containing more than one kind of catalytically activated catalyst metal and an enhancer in some cases and a leachable alloy component, and a binder metal composed of more than one kind of pure catalyst metal such as nickel, or the like. At this time, a shaping aid, a lubricant, a plasticizer and a pore- producer are added and mixed homogeneously. The mixture is formed into a desirable form, and sintered at less than 850 deg.C to form a catalyst precursor. Next, the catalyst precursor is treated by bleaching and activated. An activated Raney metal fixed-bed catalyst is formed by cleaning the mixture. The weight ratio of the catalyst alloy to the binder is 100:20-100:0.5.
