Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To purify an alkyl nitrite-contg. exhaust gas without any undesirable side reactions by treating the alkyl nitrite-contg. exhaust gas by the countercurrent purification method at a specified temp. with a specified amt. of amidosulfuric acid in the form of an aq. soln. and further purifying the exhaust gas, if necessary. CONSTITUTION: An alkyl nitrite-contg. exhaust gas is treated by the countercurrent purification method with equimolar to excess amidosulfuric acid in the form of an aq. soln., and the ascending exhaust gas is further purified, if necessary. The amidosulfuric acid is an easily available compd. capable of being safely handled. The compd. is produced, for example, from ammonia and sulfur trioxide. Consequently, the exhaust gas is purified without any undesirable side reaction.
