Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a method for storing fresh foodstuff enabling long-term cold storage without causing dew condensation on the surface of stored products even when environment in a product storage zone is kept at low temperature and high humidity. CONSTITUTION:A product storage zone whose outer circumference is substantially surrounded by a buffer space 3 in outer environment is formed so as not to be influenced by temperature from the outer environment and a storage means 8 for storing a product to be stored is provided in the product storage zone and the environment in the buffer space 3 keeps proper temperature and humidity by an air cooling means 4 and humidifying means 57 and storage of the product to be stored is carried out while mutually ventilating between outer environment and the buffer space 3 and between the buffer space 3 and the product storage zone.
