COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL DATA DECODING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To decode physically divided protocol data without requiring a mass- storage area or frequent file access by enabling an encoding process to be interrupted and restarted. CONSTITUTION:A decoding process mechanism 112 actuates a state holding mechanism 114 unless the decoded protocol data are logically complete to store registered information, registered by a mechanism 112, as storage information (c), and interrupts the process. The mechanism 114 once completing the storage of the.information puts the process back to an input/output and internal process control mechanism 110. An input device 20 reuses a receiving buffer which is used for the previous profess to receive data successively, and inputs the data to a decoding processor 10. The processor 10 actuates the mechanism 110 and then actuates a state restoration mechanism 116 to restore system stack information. Then the mechanism 112 is actuated to ends the decoding process.
