Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To discriminate an original product from a reproduced product at the user side by preparing a recording area where different identification names are recorded for all products that are sorted for each program and also providing a control means to read out those recorded identification names. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 101 reads out the identication name of a tested semiconductor integrated circuit 100 corresponding to a ROM code that recorded a program. Then the CPU 101 collates the identification names with a list of a data base 102 where the identification names are recorded for each product and decides the presence or absence of the corresponding product. If the corresponding product is detected, it is recorded on the list and the correctness of the identification name is shown on a display means 103. if the identification name cannot be read out or the corresponding product is not contained in the list of the base 102, the incorrectness of the identification name is shown on the means 103. Thus it is possible to produce a checking device that does not operate with a reproduced product. |
