MEMBER FOR IMPARTING TRIBOELECTRIC CHARGE FOR POSITIVE CHARGE TYPE TONER

PURPOSE:To obtain images exhibiting the grade equal to the grade of an initial image even after continuous copying and to obtain bright color images with decreased environmental fluctuations by incorporating a specific compd. as a charge control agent into the above member. CONSTITUTION:This member contains the compd. expressed by the formula as the charge control agent on, at least, the surface. In the formula, A and A' may be respectively independently the same or different and denote hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, nitro group, etc. B and B' may be respectively independently the same or different and denote hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, alkyl group, etc. X, X', Y and Y' may be respectively independently the same or different, exist in O- position of an azo group and denote -O-, -COO-, -NH-, -S-; n, n', m and m' may be respectively independently the same or difference and denote an integer from 1 to 4. Z denotes hydrogen atom, sodium, potassium, heterocyclic ammonium, etc. M denotes chromium, cobalt, iron.
