FOLDING DOOR

PURPOSE:To assemble a panel unit on rails and remove it with few people of one or two at the most without requiring a special apparatus for a weight in a folding door foldably connected with a plurality of panels via junction members to form the panel unit and openably assembled with the panel unit along a pair of the upper and lower or the right and left rails provided on a building. CONSTITUTION:Stiles of a panel 4 connected to a junction member 5 are divided into the first stile 4f and the second stile 4g. The first stile 4f is rotatably connected to the spindle 5a of the junction member 5. Notches 17, 18c are provided to fix a fixing tool 10 fixed to one of the first and second stiles 4f, 4g to the other stile. The fixing tool 10 is inserted into the notches 17, 18c, the second stile 4g and the first stile 4f are relatively slid in the longitudinal direction, the hook section 10b of the fixing tool 10 is hooked on the notches 17, 18c, and it is prevented from being released by a stopper 26.
