METHOD OF PREVENTING LIQUEFACTION OF FOUNDATION GROUND

PURPOSE:To make it possible to efficiently drain water absorbed up to an earth surface side by drain columns from a sand layer ground through water permeable columnar bodies further cheaper than gravel such as pebbles, crushed stones and others conventionally being used and, at the same time, to reduce a construction cost without having any fear of collapsing the sand layer ground by backfilling earth and without requiring any foundation pile or complicated end drainage equipment. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of drain columns 2 constituted of pebbles, crushed stones, gravel or slag or metal, synthetic resin, etc., are scatteredly driven in a foundation ground 1. In the upper parts of the drain columns 2, water permeable columnar bodies 7 of hard synthetic resin consisting of different materials from the drain columns 2 are arranged so as to connect the drain columns 2 adjacent to each other.
