Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recording sheet having high gloss, imparting high image density and excellent in color reproducibility, ink absorbability and blocking resistance. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet recording sheet is obtained by providing an ink receiving layer based on a mixture of gelatin with surface pH of 4.0-8.0 and a water-soluble cellulose derivative and a pH buffer agent on a support. Pref., the pH buffer agent is one or more kind of a component selected from a group consisting of colloidal silica, an alumina sol and inorg. salts.
